Have a break, have a Chocolate Cupcake! These small chocolate cupcakes serve well for tea break with a nice cup of coffee, tea or milk and they are ready before your water boils!
Chocolate Cupcake recipe “baked” using microwave oven is an easy cake recipe. However, be careful with DOs and DON’Ts when using microwave oven. METAL items should NOT go into microwave oven so don’t use cups made of metal and don’t leave your metal spoon inside. No to stainless steel, silver, aluminium etc. Use ceramic, melamine or anything stated “Microwave Oven Safe”.
When stirring Chocolate Cupcake mixture, there will be small lumps of margarine. Do not worry because they will melt when heated but try to break those big lumps to get an even taste and texture. The longer you stir the Chocolate Cupcake mixture, the smoother the texture. Otherwise, opt for cooking oil but cooking oil will float above other ingredients and but the cake will still look good and taste about the same when done.
Improve Chocolate Cupcake recipe with raisins, chocolate chips, almonds or nuts if you love munching. Since Chocolate Cupcake is a bit mouth drying, I personally prefer raisins.
When serving guests, make Chocolate Cupcakes more presentable by using paper cake cups. Lay paper cake cups inside your ceramic cups and pour Chocolate Cupcake mixture into the paper cake cups. Don’t fill the cup to rim because the mixture will expand when cooking and can cause overflow.
Also try fancy coffee mug, tea cup or bowl and serve Chocolate Cupcake in them – no need to take out and worrying about how the cake looks like if you fail to dig them out nicely! But remember to give your guest a fork.

And must use high quality cocoa powder! Preferably use Van Houtan!
The texture is really good when we use it. I think I will add tonnes of chocolate chips. Ha
