Other than only 3 simple steps to cook, ingredients in Oriental Roast Pigeon recipe are surprisingly easy to find too. Being cooked the Chinese way, most ingredients are pretty “Chinese” such as Shaoxing wine, Chinese wine, Chinese parsley…but these are easily available in our local sundry shops, Chinese medical halls, mini markets, supermarkets and hypermarkets

Oriental Roast Pigeon Recipe (Serves 4 pax)
Ingredients:
- 4 nos. of pigeon
- ½ bottle of Shaoxing wine
- ½ bottle of Chinese wine
- 5kg of water (equivalent to 5L)
- 50gm of sugar
- 50gm of chicken powder (Aromat or any other brands)
- 100gm of soya sauce
- 10gm of ginger (blended in food processor)
- 10gm of Chinese parsley (blended in food processor)
- 30gm of spring onion (blended in food processor)
Preparation:
- Mix all ingredients and marinate the pigeons for 4 hours.
- Deep fried the marinated pigeons in hot cooking oil for about 5 – 8 minutes.
- Ready to serve.
