Nowadays obesity is no longer a common issue. Just look at the food we have nowadays. Most people prefer to eat outside rather than just cook for themselves at home. The reason is because it is fast, convenient due to time constrain.

Consuming fast food has become a trend in our country especially our youth nowadays. Hence we can see the impact that obesity has been increase from year to year. It is as simple as like this. During my mum and dad school time, it is hard to see any of their classmates having obesity problem. If there is any, perhaps due to genetic.

And when I was in my secondary school, the population of obesity has been increase. As our age increase, the percentage to gain weight is higher if balance and proper diet is not being practice.

What you need to have daily for your balance diet? It does not mean you cannot take fried chicken or cheese burger since it’s containing high cholesterol. It is the matter of the amount that you consume. You take more mean you are contributing your body to obesity. The easiest way to measure your food intake by nutrient is follow the food pyramid.

BALANCE DIET PRACTICE

Food that you shall take less is high carbohydrate, fat and cholesterol. This is all referring to fried meat, rice and food that made from flour. Those are mostly will contribute you to become fat. And foods that you can consume moderately are like fish, grain, oats and egg (albumin and not the yolk). These foods will provide you high protein that your body needs.

BALANCE DIET PRACTICE

When consuming the above food with the right quantity, don’t forget that we need to take more fiber to help our digestive system. Take more green leaves vegetables as it contain the highest fiber to cleanse intestine and very helpful in digestion. Another way to get fiber supply is by consuming more fruits. Most of fruit contain high nutrient that our body needs. And some fruit like orange and lime contain citric acid to help you cleanse your body in the inside.

Don’t forget the last thing is take at least 2L of plain water. More than 70% of our body weight is liquid. We sweat, we pass urine to remove dirt and toxic from our body. These liquid have to be replace to maintain the volume of liquid in our body.

It just needs a little discipline from you to start your balance diet. If you don’t take care of your health, who will? Those are just a general and simple thing for you to choose and decide your food intake. And for sure, you do not need to take a calculator to calculate the amount of calories or carbohydrate you take daily to practice the balance diet. Try it and live life healthy.
