DIY- Three Quarters Ripped Leggings

While ankle length ripped leggings are super cool, we’ve decided to try something a little different. Three quarters ripped leggings is a little more unique and a lot more fun!

DIY- Three Quarters Ripped Leggings Steps

This is so simple to do and all you need is a pair of leggings that are three quarters in length and a sharp pair of scissors. If this is your first time ripping leggings you should probably start off with an inexpensive pair. The ones used here are only RM 18 from a Malaysian blog shop!

To start off, fold your leggings sideways as shown in the picture. This can be done easily by lining the side crease up against the seam. Next, start your first rip approximately an inch below the crotch. Start from the edge and cut inwards towards the crease.

Repeat this just below the first cut and make the ends of the cuts meet so that a small triangular shape is cut out.

Continue cutting small triangular shapes down the length of the legging leaving a space of about one inch in between but make the edges of the triangles further and further away from the crease.

And just like that, you have yourself an inexpensive pair of sexy leggings! Not only will you save money, you would also have spent a boring afternoon doing something productive! Now find a gorgeous long top, go out there and flaunt the result of your hard work!
