Leopard Print Dress
I remember a time when leopard print was something only the ladies of the night wore; when anything made in that fabric will be way too tight, way too low and way too short. This season, however, leopard print has made an amazing comeback with pieces that are surprisingly classy! This gorgeous print has hit the fashion world by storm!
The one incorporation of leopard prints into fashion that is most successful would be the chiffon blouse. Many variations of this has been seen, from designers such as Guess, to high street stores such as Topshop and Miss Selfridge and now even online boutiques are hopping onto the bandwagon! While the print may be somewhat outrageous, chiffon is just such a sweet feminine material! These tops look so good with sophisticated high waisted skirts or sleek dark skinnies!

Designers have also altered the stereotypical revealing leopard print dresses in favor for designs that are somewhat more conservative. By adding length and perhaps some sleeves, fashion geniuses have managed to make leopard print dresses sexy yet elegant. These pieces are totally suitable for formal occasions!

Another minor alteration that has been done would be the colors of this print. The original shades of brown may be a little too wild for some and so, while the prints have been retained, the colors now vary from shades of grey to colors as startling as hot pink! While this sounds a little strange, it actually turns out quite funky!

Finally, for those who love the trend but are rather faint at heart, you can still add leopard to your wardrobe in small doses! Perhaps small accessories such as leopard print headbands or shawls would add a wild touch to a simple outfit. Alternatively, pick out a piece with just a tad bit of the print sewn into the linings for just a hint of sexy leopard-ness!
The leopard print is wild, sexy and sometimes even super cute! There are so many ways to wear this trend so have fun. So now all you closet leopard lovers (and I happen to know quite a few of you) can come out of hiding and be proud, because you’ve had the fashion foresight to see December’s trend of the month coming our way!
