Review:
Apart from the funny moments in the manga especially on the silly things that Leo does (which irks his grandpa a lot), readers will be able to learn quite a lot about surviving on an island… in fact, these info is so good that much of it can be applied to even when getting lost in the jungle.
There are small bits of information at the end of every chapter and even in between the story – such as how to get water, how to build shelter, how to get salt, hunting techniques and many more…
Though the chances of getting lost on a deserted island maybe low, but you never know…. or at least show off to your Boy Scout & Girl Guide friends!
Rating: 3/5 – storyline can still be improved to make it funnier. But then, it’s still a fun informative book to read – that’s what we call learning can be fun!
