This Big Breakfast recipe consists of scrambled eggs, sausages, potato wedges and vegetables. Optional ingredients and food accompaniment suggested in this Big Breakfast recipe (toasted bread with jam and orange juice) is greatly recommended for those who yearn for a…big breakfast
. Big Breakfast recipe is so named for it is a filling breakfast recipe.
Big Breakfast recipe, having fulfilled the requirement for a balanced diet, is also healthy breakfast generally, a simple breakfast recipe too. Oil may be a little excessive though it can be reduced with the aid of kitchen towel. Use kitchen towel to absorb oil from potato wedges and sausages after frying.
Big Breakfast is such easy recipe. Tips are really not necessary but just to share a little “personal recipe” (so said because it is my personal preference). Scrambled eggs tasted so full when cooked with Marigold’s HL milk due to its sweetness. If you are using other fresh milk, consider adding some sugar to it. I suggest a ratio of 1:3/4 for egg:milk for milk to blend in nicely with egg without excess.
Milk, if excessive, will fail to set with eggs when cooking. However, eggs will still coagulate, just that the eggs will be “boiling” in excessive milk that does not blend in. You have to drain off the milk after cooking. It is ok, the eggs still get all the milk they need. If you handle this dish well, it can be a nice breakfast recipe alone in bigger portion.
Step 8 in the preparation of Big Breakfast is actually a personal tip too. While salt and pepper add some flavours to the dish, they act to garnish the dish too. The originally attractive Big Breakfast looks even more appealing, as if calling to you “come eat me”! lol!
